Hi! My name is Annie and I am your 2022-23 Minnesota-Dakotas Circle K District Governor. I currently attend the University of Minnesota Twin Cities as a Global Studies major with minors in Statistics, Population Studies and Public Health. One day I hope to be an epidemiologist! When I'm not doing school or Circle K, you can find me nannying, watching a sitcom or reality show, trying something new with my friends or cooking. Going on adventures is one of my favorite things to do so I'm very excited to make this year Circle K, my next!
Prior to my role as District Governor for Circle K, I was a District Governor, Bulletin Editor and Lieutenant Governor for Key Club so this isn't my first time in the K-Fam. After graduation I went my separate way without an intention to be as involved, but I greatly missed the relationships, experiences and opportunities so here I am! This year I hope to establish relationships, help clubs and grow our district. Please let me know if you have any questions or want to chat, I'm only an email/text away.
I have served as the District Administrator since the winter of 2016. I have also been a member of the Kiwanis Family since I joined Key Club in 2002. During my Circle K tenure, I served as Ohio District Governor and International President. I am currently a member of the North Suburban Saint Paul Kiwanis Club. For work, I serve as the Events and Education Program Specialist for the Minnesota Rural Electric Association where I engage with Minnesota's 50 electric cooperatives. My favorite service project is building dressers for Bridging each year!
Hi everyone! My name is Madeline Duffield, but you can call me Maddie and I am excited to be serving as the 2022-2023 MinnDak District Secretary/ Treasurer! I am entering my second year at Minnesota State University Mankato studying Family & Consumer Science Education with a minor in Health Science. Some things I enjoy doing are hanging out with friends and family, cooking, watching Netflix (I LOVE Grey’s Anatomy), reading, and playing with my Moyen Poodle Teddi.
I joined Circle K because in high school I was heavily involved in Key Club, and found my love and passion for service there. I am super excited to keep serving and making connections along the way! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
North Star Lieutenant Governor
Hi! My name is Anna Symens, and I'm the North Star Lieutenant Governor. I go to school at Minnesota State University - Mankato and am majoring in special education. I enjoy being outside and playing with my golden retriever. I decided to join Circle K to help my community and for connections with my peers that can last a lifetime!
Hey! My name is (also) Madeline, but you can (also) call me Maddie! I am thrilled to be your Bulletin Editor for this year, and to be on a District Board for the first time! I am going to be a sophomore at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and I am completing a double major in Journalism and Global Studies! I love writing, reading, performing with my a cappella and improv groups, baking lots of cookies, seeing friends, and talking about my dogs.
Before college, I was in my high school's Key Club for 4 years and served as a class representative, Club Treasurer, and eventually, Club President! I joined Circle K because I wanted to continue serving the community around me and make lasting friendships. I am so excited to meet everyone and to connect with all of you. :)
